Does anyone out there have a dodger installed on their whaler? We will be meeting with the canvas guy tommorow. There is also the issue of a mooring cover being properly constructed and attached for trailering.

Not sure what your question is regarding the dodger and mooring cover - and there are all types, sizes and styles of Whalers as well as the canvas that goes with them. Probably ought to start out with the year and model of your boat if you have specific questions about canvas, and you may want to consider posting your question on the Repairs/Mods forum for higher chances of responses.
If all you really want to know is whether anyone else has a dodger, yes I do, on my Outrage 22, made by Mills Canvas on Long Island, but they and I refer to it as the forward shelter; many others here have them on their Whalers too, some by Mills, some not. It is my calculated opinion that if you have a model that Mills has the pattern for, you can't do any better.

Mills canvas has developed the flying top set with dodger, windshield and flying top for the new Montauk. There are pictures under Whaler Canvas on their website, www.millscanvas.com. Try there
