I want to put a kicker motor on my 1999 outrage 21. I am concerned about the added weight on one side of the boat causing a list to one side. Would appreciate knowing anyone's experience on this, and what size motor they used, and if the fuel was fed from the main tank. I have trim tabs on the boat and there are lifting eyes on the transom.

The fuel for an auxillary engine could be drawn from the main tank, if the main engine and auxillary both use the same type of fuel. Choose your auxillary engine to use the same fuel as you main if you want this arrangement. If your main engine uses pre-mix and your auxillary does not, or vice versa, you will have to use a separate tank for the auxillary.

If both engines use the same fuel, you can draw from the main tank. On some tanks there is a second fuel pickup available at the tank.

You can also use the fuel-water separator filter as a point to add a second line. These typically have an extra outlet that is plugged.
