Anybody gonna bite on the new 110 Sport? We could use a review...

I'm not gonna buy it. But I sure am looking forward to seeing it. I'll get some pictures at the boat show this fall.

A tender version too, configured in three different ways:
Tiller steer w/9.9hp
Console model w/15 hp 4S
Unpowered w/oarlocks

Oops,
It says on the wed site that they will have them "winter 2003". So I may not get to see one at the fall boat show.

Don't you check out whaler.com? The 110 has been on the whaler site for a while now.

From looking at the head on shot of the tender 110 the bow hook looks really high, almost funny looking.
The hook is higher then the smirk, I don't like it. I think my 1975 11-Sport is better looking then the new 110 is. But hey, whatcha you think I was gonna say? :)
But,
I like how the wheel on the sport model is in the middle.
Its about time whaler put the steering wheel in the middle of the boat, They should do it with the 130 too.
When I'm in any kind of a chop in my Classic 11-sport I get sprayed if I sit right behind the wheel. I often end up sitting in the middle of the boat and steering with my right hand, I'll bet this won't be a prolbem on the
110 Sport.

I hope whaler does not price it too close to the 130 sport, if they do the 110 won't sell. I know I'd take a 13footer over an 11footer unless the price difference where a few grand.......but I won't be buying a new whaler for a loooong time anyway.
