My 1997 17 B/W Outrage II is equiped with a factory fiberglass leaning post that has two plastic lids behind the leaning cushion that can be lifted to access a large storage bin. In addition, the entire lid also flips forward. The person that sold me the boat said they have seen a baitwell tank that fits within the storage area of this fiberglass leaning post. Has anyone ever seen such a thing? If so, where can you get it?

Getting ready for the King Fish.

Jorge - I have a '98 20' OR with what sounds like the identical leaning post. Mine did have a live baitwell in it (factory option when I bought the boat new), but since my fishing options are limited I removed the poly tank.

I converted the livewell circulating pump that was mounted next to the tank inside the leaning post enclosure to a washdown system, and gained a ton of storage space in the bargain. Unfortunately, I finally discarded the tank about 6 months ago because I couldn't forsee any use for it. Sorry.

I had that same leaning post on my 97 Outrage 17.
It had the live well with a pump that doubled as
a washdown pump. There was also a grab rail around
the rear of the leaning post.
Just behind the leaning post is a good size fish
box that can hold alot of fish.
