These mods to the 170 RPS only involve removing the seat bottom screws, leave the RPS cushion snapped:

I did this to get easier access to the 2 13-gallon Tempo tanks.

Also, if you don't have access to equipment to make a beautiful RPS storage compartment like ghefty (George), you can still get a storage area above your Pate tank with this same mod. You'll need some small storage boxes.

This mod has been tested by local experts and found to be excellent. The seat bottom stays in place. Jim

Jim you are simply once again a inventor of the highest order. I also find that neccessity breeds most inventions.
