Kid Stuff	posted 11-07-2003 11:55 PM ET (US)         Does anyone have this boat with an auxiliary engine? I have a 2002 16 Dauntless with a 90 2 stroke and was thinking of putting a 8hp kicker on a fulton bracket. Any thoughts?
JohnJ80	posted 11-09-2003 06:33 PM ET (US)             I haven't tried it but the Dauntless line is very sensitive to weight in stern. Too much leads to porpoising problems. I would check with Whaler and see what they recommend for weight and then I would see if you are under that with your main motor and kicker combined weights. You will want to be pretty careful here. j
