My 2002 210 Outrage is shedding it's stripes and I would like to replace them with the OEM stripes and am having no success finding a vendor. I'm sure Whaler would sell me some for a very high price. I know striping is available at most boat shops but it's not like what I have on my boat. I have a large dark blue stripe with a thin grey or silver underneath it. Any help? Thanks

If you're the original owner, call Whaler Customer service, they're helpful and may offer to provide it to you. gratis. Considering the cost of a 2002 Whaler you have, the stripe is a pittance. Good Luck.

would that be covered under warranty?

Go to the dealer, they will give you new striping and maybe even remove and install the new one.

You can find striping at Boat US that matches exactly (least, mine did).
The cost for the striping and logos from whaler are just ridiculously priced. You can find a lot of logos etc.. on ebay.
I understand the trademarking restrictions etc... but when whaler charges $200 for the same sticker you can get off eBay for $12.50 (including shipping), something is way wrong.
Anyhow, that's what I did and it looks great.
Failing that, if it is under warranty, do it that way.

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately, the striping at West, Boat US and Boaters World are not a match. I've even called 3M asking if they are the factory source and they are not. Guess I will have to succumb to to the Dealer Pricing.

Go check on Ebay for the sticker guys for Boston Whaler. Then email them and ask them if they have the striping too. They matched my color exactly on logos and i bet you could get the striping from them too.
The dealer prices are absolutely outrageous.

On my 1999 21ft. Conquest one of the lower color tape stripes is 3M Scotchal#70205 the cost of the stripe in a forty foot roll was about nine dollars. The color match is perfect.I picked it from a 3M sample catalog and bought it from a local body shop supplier. You can section the stripe into to the damage area only. Also the Boston Whaler logo on the side of my boat has been scratched loading boat on trailer I cut small pieces of black vinyl from mail box lettering to repair the scratches. Hope this helps you.

You may also want to check with Draftsmanswife (Janis) - a member here that supplied the Whaler logo graphics for my 15 foot Sport. She also supplied registration numbers that matched the logo's color and tilt angle (if that's the way to put it). Quality is top notch and the price very reasonable - plus she's great to deal with.
After seeing her work, my guess is that striping wouldn't be a problem for her.

Draftsmans wife can get it done for you. She has the stuff you need and looks forward to help all us whaler folks.
So where in the Tampa area are you? Where do you work out of?
