Hey gang,

I repowered my Ventura with a new 175 ficht...I bought a few used props off of ebay and was wondering if anybody has tried the hi-five on a Dauntless/Ventura hull???Reading the specs of the prop, it makes sense to try it because it has good bow lift and the Ventura is heavy...I also have a 4 blade SS and a few stilettos (17* and 19*) the 4 blade is 20* and the hi-five is 23*...

Any thoughts???

Scott

You're boat/motor combo is unique,so perhaps trial & error may best suit you needs. I did have a 1998 Ventura which is a different hull design it was powered by a 200 HPDI, so I would say yours is going to fly.

Sorry, I have been confused, too many Whalers, my 1998 18' Ventura was powered by a 135 Merc Optimax, unfortunately it didnt last long so I don't recall any performance specs. BUT with a 175 you'll fly.
