Does anyone have access to wood diagrams for an SL16, I want to attach rod holders from the inside of the hull or from on top of the gunnels and need hardpoints for the screws.

I am thinking of the area between the low port and starboard rails near the stern and the higher rails which run forward past the consoles.

It would appear from a 1994 diagram of a 15gls that they have reinforcment for about 2' 6" from the stern going forward is this true of most whalers? and can you confirm for an SL.

Is the 15GLS a good comparison in terms of wood placment or is there a better guide I should be considering.

regards chris
