I just bought a leftover 2003 130 sport which comes with a six gallon plastic gas tank that has a strap around it to hold it down to the hull. I would like to add a bigger tank under the seat. Any help on this and how to mount it would be helpful.

Have the 2002 model with a 40hp Merc and also have the 6 gal tank. I'm thinking of buying a second tank that could fit adjacent to the original. A 6 gal tank may not fit in this position, but any extra gas would be helpful. And it would only take switching the hose connector as the gas line will not get in the way. Straping it down should not be a problem, just two brackets in the floor.

These are the tanks on one side of my 150 Sport:

If that doesn't work on the 130 Sport, consider a Tempo tank:

Pate Plastics make a fiberglass tank for the 130 as well.

I can't seem to find any web site for Pate Plastics?
The Tempco 12 gal plastic looks like the way to go. I will have to measure. What's the best way to secure a tank of that nature to the hull????

If you enter the terms "Pate Fuel Tank" into the GOOGLE.COM search engine, the first two results point to continuouswave.com, so I guess you could say that this is their website!

It's funny that Pate doesn't even have an e-mail address where you can ask for info.
Moe, do they have a catalog?

Hey Guys,

Sorry, I've been away.

I have something I can scan and show you guys.
It's their "catalog".
They do make one that will fit underneath the seat.

Let me try to get that done this week.

Weather is too nice to be indoors. =)
