Where can a good cover for a 170 MONTAUK be purchased? The 17 Whaler covers in catalogs like Cabelas are made to the classic MONTAUK 17. Dave |

I haven't received the cover yet but I ordered through i-boats. The Hurricane cover is the same material as the Mills. The main reason I chose the Hurricane is due to the fact that it covers the bow rail and doesn't require the installation of permanent attachment points (as Mills does). http://www.boat-cover.net/mall/index.cgi?store_id=100&prod_id=15092 |

I've got the Hurricane cover Divedog references for my 170 (purchased from another forum member). Works and looks great. |

I have the same Hurricane for my 170. It fits like a glove and can get drum tight. It is a very well made cover. |

If I had it to do over again I would buy a foward shelter and have an aft curtain made as was done on some of the Outrages. Look at the bottom of the following: Hyperlink Jim |

[Fixed a few hyperlinks and deleted some made-up names for things.] |
