Thanks for the compliments.

The livewell and pedestal seat works as expected. It was a pain in the butt operating the trolling motor while standing up.

My 15 year old son and I caught 10 bass today in a fresh water lake (Folsom). This is a great way to enjoy life. I wished I discovered boating/fishing years ago.

Next step is to fish in and around San Francisco Bay for the big fish.

Very nice set up on your 170. How stable is the pedestal seat? Does it void any warranties by BW? I want to do the exact set up you have, but have been waiting for someone to figure out the pedestal seat. Keep us updated on how it all works. Also, fish the delta if you want more and bigger bass. Thanks.

Seat holds up very well so far. I actually would like the seat to be adjustable so that I can raise it by about an inch or two. The BW dealer installed the seat so I assume it does not void any warranties.

The Sacramento Delta is the place for large bass but I have to go with someone to show me the ropes first. Caught a bunch of striper in the delta last winter jigging.

If you're in the Sacto area you can test out the seat for yourself. Just email me.
