The light on the switch stays on even with the switch in the off position but the motor doesn't work... I changed out the motor and still have the same problem ? Anyone know the fix ?

Thanks

Jeff

Jeff,
Re: Possible faulty rocker switch, circuit breaker or wiring.

Did you test the switch, circuit breaker and wiring? Is there power to the wiper motor when you throw the switch? Did you test the old wiper motor after you took it out by connecting it up to the battery terminals?
I just about yanked out a pump only to find out the problem was a dirty or loose connection at the rocker switch. If the indicator lamp will not turn off it sounds like a faulty rocker switch. The switches are replaceable and to my knowledge they are available. If it turns out to be the switch perhaps there is one on the panel that is not being used that you could swap. Search the site perhaps with "replacement rocker switch" I seem to remember this topic being discussed last year.
Do you use the wipers often? I've often thought of installing them.

I've narrowed it down the switch I think.. :-) I tried the fresh water switch but the same thing happens.. Think a dealer used that one before to fix this same problem...so now I have no spare... called a couple of dealers to see if I can get a few new ones..but haven't got an answer yet. And yes.. I do use the wipers all the time.. I seem to either get caught in the rain or the constant 4 foot chop...

This is a link to an old thread that I believe has the manufacturer's name. Let me know how you make out.
