I have a used 21 outrage and have water in the fish box. If I pull the plug will it drain out with out more water coming back in? IE Is the drain above the water line???

Not sure of the year of your 21 Outrage but in my 18 Outrage (year 2000), if I pull the plug in either fishbox, the fish box fills with sea water (about half way). If I run the boat with the fish box drain plug removed, the water drains out of the fish box. Finally, if I am at a stand still and want to drain the water out of my fish boxes, I throw a switch on my console (with the plug in the fish box) and the water is pumped out.

So..either run your boat with the fish box plug pulled out to drain, or run your fish box pump out whose switch should be on your console to drain your fishboxes.

Ron - I just bought a 2000 outrage 18 and didn't notice a plug in the fish boxes. Each fish box has a drain (with a large holed strainer) toward the the stern part of the box. I can pump water out of these by throwing a switch but I didn't notice a plug to let water in. Where is it ?
