Hello all,

I have a really cool video-clip of a 210 Outrage with a 225-hp 4-stroke mercury. It's a 1:25min clip of a sea-trial along the Dutch coast with some nice air shots.
I haven't figured out how to put it on my website yet so if anyone wants to see it I would be glad to e-mail it to you.
The file is a WMF and is 3.7Mb large. Let me know if you want it.

Is it the new Verado 225 in-line 6 supercharged 4-stroke engine, or the old Yamaha-built V-6 version? I have to see a new Verado 225 on the water, only 250's and 275's.

Kamie and Sal, you should have got it in your e-mail.

Newt, your user(s) account is temporarily over quota.

It's the old V-6 model Larry. Still it looks like a good performer though.

The 210 Outrage with this motor seems to be one heck of a combination. According to Dutch captain (Cor)the boat tops out at 56 MPH (90km/h) WOT! (I cut out the intro where he states this because it was in Dutch)

I happen to own one of these 210's with a 225 Merc/Yamaha. It's a great boat. I haven't seen 50 mph. with it but I have the T top on it. I'd love to see the video but it would take a year and a day to download. The 225 is a wonderful engine. Quieter than my previous 90 four stroke on the Dauntless 16' I'll try to get some pics on the web sometime soon.

If you want to download it or just view it from my site here is the link. kamie.homeip.net/210_Outrage.wmv

Now, how high are those waves they are jumping off?

Thanks Kamie!

The waves look like the wake of some other ship that passed earlier. Always difficult to estimate.

Hi Erik,

Love to see that 210 going 90 KM P/H. Can you send me the clip please, not to the WhalerClubEurope but private at jadvos@kabelfoon.nl

BTW who is Cor? A buddy of yours? Let him become a member of the WhalerClubEurope.

Best regards,

Jörgen

Jörgen,

I sent you the clip to your e-mail address yesterday. You probably recognized Cor when you saw it. If you want I can sent you the complete video, in high resolution, on a cd-rom at your home address. Send me a mail if you want it. You can here Cor explain some more details on the boat and motor specifications in Dutch.

BTW, do you have any performance data of your 210 Outrage with the 225 Optimax yet? I would love to see it.

Kamie, thanks once again for making the clip available on your website. I somehow can't seem to put WMV-files into my website even though I have enough webspace left over.

Thanks Erik,

Got your mail with video clip, awsome to see this. It was made for Veronica television, a popular station for young people.

I would like to know more on what the engine was and which propeller was used.

My 210 has the 225 Optimax with a 21 pitch High Five on it.
The ventplugs on the propeller are still closed, there is RPM enough when starting with full trottle.

The engine reaches 5900 RPM when fully trimmed out and ground speed measured on GPS is 55 Knts/Miles.

I got some awsome pictures of 3 weeks ago when we did a long weekend tour with the WhalerClubEurope to the Dutch Islands. Total 450 miles in 4 days. I will add these after the weekend to my Yahoo site which is accesable true my profile here.

Thanks again,

Jörgen
