Hi I am new the Board and a newby Whaler owner hoping for some tips

I want to fit a Fish Finder transducer on the transom of mt 2003 150 Sport but I already have a transducer for a "Raymarine ST30 Bidata" (which was fitted when I bought it) in the ideal spot (to the right of the O/B)

My FF is a Humminbird Matrix 37 which operates at 3 frequencies, 83, 200 and 455 kHz and the Bidata at 200 kHz - so I guess I will not be able to use both at the same time.

Any recommendations? Alongside or remove the Bidata (I won't need it for depth but my FF does not show speed which the Bidata does). I have a GPSmap76 which I can use for speed. I have not had the boat for long enough to assess the Bidata but it looks pretty basic.

Thanks for any help.

I'd just use the GPS for speed, repair the holes in the transom and fiberglas from the old transducer, and go back with a transducer mounting block so you won't have to do that again when you upgrade fishfinders.

Cabelas sells the blocks:
