This week in the mail was the Boston Whaler Certificate of Ownership. It's one of those things you don't really need at all but like a nice owner's manual, it makes you feel appreciated for paying the premium for a Whaler.
There had been a survey on their website where you suggested a design, etc. and they said in appreciation for participation they would send you the final selection. They did.
Did anyone else get one recently? I had forgotten all about the survey and it was like a little summer hello from Whaler.
It's dappled brown and has Dick Fisher in the boat with the crosscut saw and below it, a gold Boston Whaler seal and the boat model, hull number and owner name. I may hang it in the office as it's kinda well done although not the design of my choice. Was wondering if they are all the same and suspect so.

Did you have to apply for one? What type of Whaler do you have?

No certificate here, and I remember getting the email from their marketing firm touting the certificate too. I suppose I will live though.

Sal, your certificate is in the mail! (I hope) Seriously, if you filled that thing out you will likely see one soon as that was all we did. My postman folded the envelope (with its cardboard) to stick it in the box. Maybe yours won't have a crease in it like mine. Yep, it's not something you need to live but it beats the heck out of the window cleaner I got with my VW. Erik, evidently you had to fill out the online form earlier this year. Don't know if it was just for new buyers or what.
