I'm getting ready to purchase a new 130 Sport. I'd like some advice on things to look out for at the dealership. Dealer is asking $11,910.00. That includes 4 stroke 40hp and comfort package, tax etc., etc. Is this reasonable? How much room do I have for negotiation? Any hidden charges I shold look for.

I purchased a 130 sport earlier in the year...that price is about what I paid ... (comfort package, 40 four stroke, bow rail, trailer), no cover or top....

My particular dealer was pretty upfront regarding all the surprises...

of course if you are finanacing it, be sure to shop around first, just as you would with a car.....

I would guess that the only discount you'll find is if you located a dealer with extra stock in a seasonal area.....

good luck, and HAVE FUN!

Do you need bottom paint, cleats, compass, depth finder? If so, try to get them included/installed at a reasonable cost(free?).
