I am looking to buy a high quality hand held spotlight that can also be mounted to the side or bow rail on my 150 Sport. I have checked all the stores like BoatUS, WestMarine, Overtons, BoatersWorld, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated to help finding the dock in early morning/late night fishing trips. |

I permanently mounted a 3"X5" Jabsco Tungsten Halogen Floodlight (West Marine Catalog p. 692) to the bottom of my bow rail angled slightly towarad the water. This gives me plently of light to navigate between the rocks in front of my dock at night. I had this on my 13' Super Sport and now use it on my '03 Sport 150. |

The only handhelds with an optional base that I've found are the Marinco/Guest "Great White" units: http://www.marinco2.com/showProduct.asp?p=28SB -- |

RAM make a great waterproof spotlight with a huge range of mounts including one for your rail. Its what I have for my 150 Sport. Cabella's stock them, just search for RAM Spotlight. |
