The 18' outrage (2000) model minimum hp = 115, max hp = 200
its fitted with a 90 gallon tank. Boat weighs approx 2500 without MOTOR.
LOA= 18' 4"
I have a buddy that has this same boat. He had a 175 ficht which blew a head. Then got a suzy 140 hp 4 stroke.
Its a really big 18'er out on the market. Probably one of the biggest.

In my opinion the 18' should have a 150hp(bare minimum)and ideal with 200hp-225hp. Go on a seatrial and test it...It may suit you...

I now have a 19/20 outrage (1998) weighs 2200 lbs with a 225HP Yamaha. I think the 18ft c 130HP would be underpowered in most situations.
Our previous boat was an 18 with a Yamaha 115HP (much lighter than the Honda 130HP). It was ok when boating by myself but I couldn't take more than two passengers into the Ocean. The boat just struggled to get onto plane. My advise is put a 200HP motor on your 18ft outrage if possable.
If you go for a sea trial take along 4-5 poeple so you can really see the limitations of 130HP.
All the best.
