Having purchased a new Whaler a month ago I am suprised that I have not recieved a customer survey from BW. Has this been everyone's else's experience?

Never heard of BW survey since bought new in 1986

I bought an old 1987 Revenge , and at a Whaler event over Memorial day I spent about 45 minutes talking to Boston Whaler factory staff about why I bought the boat I did , and what I would like to see in a new Whaler. The young lady was very knowledgeable about all Whalers, and recorded the whole conversation, I was very impressed that they really wanted my thoughts as I own an old boat............Jack

Received my Montauk last August, 2004. Took MANY weeks before I got a survey. It may have been a couple of months.

I received one 8 weeks after my purchase 7/02. It's my opinion that new owners would want to spend some time & have a number of underway periods with their new Whalers before filling out a survey. I was also contacted by both Mercury & Whaler at the end of the 1st year after the purchase. Both spend 15 - 20 minutes asking their questions & then letting me express my opinions both good & bad. I then received letter from Brunswick thanking me for my input. Last year at a boat show I spoke with a Whaler rep about my Ventura 210 he asked me the standard questions & then what changes I would make to the model. I drew pictures etc. About 2 weeks later on of their engineers contacted by phone concerning my ideas. We spent about 1 hour talking about all facits of the boat. I was very happy with their customer service folks.
