Topic:   Idleing at 1200 and rough!

posted 06-26-2005 08:26 PM ET (US)         I have a 1997 Dauntless 20 with a 1996 175 Johnson Ocean Runner outboard. I ran it all day and it was perfect. Coming in (in rough water)I noticed when I sloed down to dock that it would not go lower than 1200 rpm and it seemed to be idleing a little rough. After docking, I tried putting it in neutral and revving it, but to no avail...still 1200 rpm. Could I have it a wave and thrown the idle out of whack? Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
