Having owned ALOT of boats (I am a Mastercraft Dealer)I always have gone with the MAX HP in a OB configuration on the ID plate. 13 Whalers are aloud 40 HP 15s are allowed 70 HP. This one is aloud 75. Where that # came from I will never know. A 70 HP on this hull would be better. As it sits it does everything that I could ask for it to do. The kids love it. I also hear of people underpowering. BAD move. A 35 HP on a 15 is under powered in my opinion. Get it up there and let the boat perform to spec.

Great boat!
