Should I have any concerns about pulling a two person tube?A few of my family members have weight problems. Will my stern eyes be able to deal with them?

The stern eyes were made to hoist your boat. If you have family members that weigh more than half your boat you should have concerns, otherwise don't be.

We use a yoke with a float. So far kids friends have lost shorts and lip rings while on the tube. Kinda fun for me as the operator. Jim

Yes, it's a shame that sometimes things are lost when tubing. Unfortunately it wasn't until after my then 22 year old son's friend removed her PFD that we realized she'd managed to have lost the top of her bathing suit.

If I remember correctly, it was the fixed location of everyones stare that finally alerted her to the problem. ;>)

I used to think I was too old for water sports like tubing, but they are beginning to sound more attractive to me.

It's friday night 11:00pm an I'm at work. Will be done around 11:15. Will be driving to the shore house after I get out. Can't wait till tomorrow to have my relatives enjoy my new Montauk. I hope all will have a great time cruising and tubing. I love this boat.

Jim, if I'm reading Steve's post correctly, you could even enjoy the "attractive" aspects of these water sports without getting in the water. Just running the boat, apparently, is adequate.

I know I'm too old for it, but then I'm also too old for two piece bathing suits.

Update on the weekend. The DE. bay was calm as could be. I have to say what a blast! I did'nt even get on the tube.I just ran the boat. Not that I don't trust anyone with my new Montauk, ok I don't. In due time. You could'nt wipe the smiles off their face, including myself. The Montauk was awesome. Three people in the boat and pulling my 235 lb. brother-in-law on the tube. Planed off without a problem. Everyone had a great time, what a great investment. Worth every penny!
