My wife said to me "your acting like you lost an arm or a leg! " NO THE B FELL OFF" The B fell off of on the starboard side decal of my 2005 Montauk. "oston Whaler". What's up with that? We were out tubing an all knew but me, my life story again. When they told me I went insane, you got to be kidding me!! I'm laughing as I'm typing this post.Need to call the dealer. |

Betcha someone at the factory got an oily or greasy finger on that area of your hull right before the decals were applied. |

Phil,I should be able to get just the "B" from Boston Whaler. Since they are individual stick on letters. |

The Boston Whaler decal is on one sheet of material. I asked Janis just a couple of weeks ago if it was possible to purchase just the certain pieces from the decal... She told me the decals were sold in pairs only... I believe they were $40 plus shipping for the pair... |

Joe,I have a 2005 Montauk which have raised letters not a flat decal type. I hope I will be able to get just one letter. Calling Boston Whaler tomorrow. |

offset, Yeah, I did realize you had a 2005 and that they have raised letters but I still think they all come on one sheet allong with the sled underneath and also the ® ... Let us know what you find out as I'm sure they will be others in the same situation... |

I will also bet they come on one sheet. That's the only way they'd get on the boat straight.

Called Boston Whaler , "LEAVE A MESSAGE". Chuck from Boston Whaler called back by the end of the day and left a message to try my dealer first. Called Hank @ North Bay Marina in Fenwick Island, DE. Told me no problem will place the order today. Great guy! They do come in individual letters. Thank God you would'nt believe how much it was bugging me,you all probably do! |

Hey just a re-cap, the lettering did come on a full sheet.You guys were right, dealer was wrong. Boston Whaler sent out the port side. Took awhile but I got it. I'll be able to just cut the "B" out and stick it on. I may put a touch of 3500 on to insure it. Striper season starting @ the Jersey shore, can't wait!!! |
