anyone who can tell me if it is possible to put a 225 Etec Evinrure behind this boat ? and what would happen if I do ?

The 180 Dauntless is rated for 150hp maximum.
I know you are into speed so you could go to the E-Tec 200hp for the same weight.

The E-Tec 150, 175, and the 200, all weigh the same at 427 lbs for the 25 inch shaft.

If you try to put on a 225hp, it weighs 524 lbs... Almost 100 pounds more on the transom. I think that might be too much weight. If you are thinking about putting on the 225, you might as well go to the 250hp for the same weight...

So do I iunderstand correct that you think the boat can handle the weight and power but you care mainly for my safty. correct ?

my main concern is that the boat is not out of balance with the nose high in the sky and that I dont loose the engine becouse the whole stern broke off
