I'm about to buy a 2004 Montauk and in scanning these forums for information I have seen the comment many times "the new Montauk 170 and the old Montauk 17 are totally different boats" Is this good or bad? Can someone summarize the essential differences for me? Thanks |

There is a difference between the two hulls. The older style has very nice lines, where as the new one rides smoother and is a bit larger. Ken |
