Looks like the Build your Whaler option is back on the website.

A new option on the Outrage 190 is the availability of trim tabs. Don't think it had that option as the Nantucket.
MSRP is 32k

Looks like this option no longer exists. What happened?

Does the boat really need them? I have often said it sorta needs thembut I said that based on nothing more than a hunch. I saw them show up on the option list when the heavy Verado came along. Maybe BW has decided they are simply not worth the cost?

OK,where would they go? Between all the scuppers and swim platform and the trailer tie-down alignment with the rings where exactly would tey go. How would you run the electric cables or hydrualic lines? Maybe is just does not work out worth the effort? Consider the placement of your transducer and the speed wheel, also, where do those go when you install tabs?

I was referring to the "build your whaler" option, which was very reciently removed from their website. I guess dealers complained and did not want consumers to have any kind of baseline price to use when shopping.

I think that even though it is early July, 2006, the 2007 model year will begin in just a few weeks. They could be in the process of updating their site for the new year. Just speculation, but it might explain the absence of the "Build Your Whaler" feature on the Boston Whaler website at this time.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm just waiting for the specs to be added for the 190 Montauk.....

I think it's a combination of remove the retail (MSRP) prices before the "Clear the decks." sale and give us time to forget the old prices before the new 2007 prices get posted!

What do you think, higher or lower? :)
