Has anyone seen the MSRP pricing on the new 285's comming out this fall. I have looked all over the net and contacted the dealer, and have yet to find any data. Trying to determine how close to the 305s they are going to land. Thanks.

The 285 base price is $147,000 and the 305 is $177,000 but the 305 has a standard anchor windlass, microwave, hardwood floor etc. so the true price difference is about $25,000.
Which way would you go if the price difference is $25,000. I am in the same boat trying to decide and I am favouring the 285. I would appreciate your opinion.

With a $25,000 price difference, I'd buy the 285 AND a 170 Montauk. :-)

Sal A took a picture of a price sign on a 285 at the N Y boatshow.... http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/002492.html

If you scroll down and look at the Sal A's post, he has a link to photos from the NY Boat Show. One of the photos shows the price sheet for the 285 Conquest with some of the options priced out.

I'm considering moving up from my 235 Conquest to the 285 Conquest. Love the 235 but the single engine and the signifiacnt other wanting a private head is motivating me.
Any feedback on price negotiation? Or what others are paying?
Anyone looking for a super clean, stored inside, loaded 235 (2005) let me know.

Pick up the new 285 Conquest on Tuesday. Anyone else with experience or tips on this one?

Hope BW hits a home run with the 285 Conquest as they did with the 305.

I would like to hear your comments on the boat. I am 'thinking' about a 285. Dealer nearby just got one.
Also, if you happen to have a digital camera...some decent photos of it would be nice. All I have seen are the crappy 'thumbnails' that are on whaler's website and brochure.
Congrads on the purchase!

I am very impressed with the 285. A big step up from my 235Q.
Any advise on how to post pictures so others can view?
