In looking at the wiring on my 98 outrage 20. I have a switch on the dash for Pump 1 and 2. Pump one will drain the in-deck fish boxes, While Pump 2 is wired, it does not seem to power anything. Is it just an empty switch, or is it supposed to be to a washdown/baitwell pump that just isn't installed on my particular boat. I have tried to trace the wires, but the wiring under the console is a pure mess of spagetti. Thnaks in advance.

Switch two is for a livewell/ washdown pump. If you have the leaning post livewell, the pump should be on the port side of the leaning post. If you have the livewell in your port/quarter seat then I'm guessing the pump is in the bilge. Not real sure though. If you don't have a livewell at all, the wires should be secured with a couple of heat shrink but connectors for future use.

phatwhaler out.
