Storing my 18 Dauntless outside for the winter. Boat and motor have been winterized. Should the outboard be stored in the up position (trailer mode) or full down position?

But I'd cycle it up and down a couple of times, leaving it in
each position for several minutes.

That is, IF I lived where "winterizing" didn't just mean a warm coat
over the drysuit. ;-) We look forward to winter. That lack
of sun means the plankton dies off, the water gets clearer,
and the visibility is, on average, the best of the year.
