I've searched this board, ebay current and completed listings, bucvalue pro and NADA to try and produce a fair value for a 99 Montauk for sale, and I am finding a range of values all over the place. Any opinion on these specs would be appreciated. This would be my first whaler, for use on the bay side of cape cod.

1999 Montauk 17, stored indoors and winterized during off season.
Recent bottom paint.
1999 90 hp Yamaha, maint. is up to date.
Custon 40 gallon molded fuel tank under seat.
Comfort package.
1999 Calkins Trailer.
Full boat cover.

BucValuePro - High Retail $13,180 for Good Condition

NADA Boat - $7,520
NADA Trailer - $3,765
NADA Engine - $620
NADA TOTAL - ~$12,000

Thanks in advance.

I bought a 98 Montauk 2 years ago right at the nada price, but I was very lucky to do it.

You might get a better response in the marketplace section or the classic section as a 1999 Montauk is considered a classic.

The MONTAUK 17 was designed in 1976, about 30 years ago. It is definitely a classic. Nothing POST-CLASSIC about it.

For an appraisal of an individual boat, use MARKETPLACE.

Got it, thanks for the input guys, I've posted in the Marketplace section and feel like I have a decent idea of what I am looking at.
