Here I am a 68 year old adult acting like a kid because my sea trial on the new 150 Montauk is set for Tuesday. That happens to be my birthday, what a present.

After being without a Whaler for the past 3 years I am more than ready to get back on the water.

I will post a review after running the boat.

Good for you. I adapted your montauk downrigger setup on my 150 sport. Your pictures saved me a lot of trouble in mounting a downrigger. Have not tried it out yet but hope to very soon to see how it works. You should have no trouble in setting one up on your 150 montauk. Can't wait to hear the report. Tell us what bodies of water you go out on in you trial.

Glad the pictures helped.

The sea trial will be on Lake Union here in Seattle. My dealer is on the water there.

Dick, I'm glad you and your knowledge has hung around here
while you were Whalerless. Thanx.

Cuck

As I get older my knowledge seems to be slipping away but I am allways happy to help when I can. Once you get Whaler in your blood there is no getting away.

I had the sea trial today. There was a light breeze and a little chop. I am 160# and the salesman was about 200# the boat planed instantly and handled like a dream at all speeds.
There was no way to check the speed, that will have to wait until get it home and install the GPS.

Needless to say, I closed the deal.
