I can't find the Nantucket 190.
Is this now the Outrage 190?
When did this change and why?

Yes, the 190 Nantucket is now the 190 OUTRAGE. It changed for the 2006 Model year. Whaler moved the boat into the Outrage family because that is what is is based off. They also moved the Eastport to the Conquest line.

Let not your heart be troubled. The Nantucket is exactly the same as the Outrage 190. All they did was peel the vinyl sticker off the side and apply a new one.
I liked the Legend concept but this move really makes sense becaue it builds on the reputation of Boston Whalers established line up. Thus as was stated the Eastport became a Conquest and the Nantucket became an Outrage 190 and now there is a new Montauck 190 for the Montauk/Sport line. If you wanted the Nantucket then what you want now is the Outrage 190. The engine selection has been changed. No more 115 and of course in addition to the value priced Opti versions there is the Verado 135 and 150 being offered as well at a premium price.
I know that the Nantucket is the Outrage because Boston Whaler of Florida told me so. I also know it because I have had mine side by side to one. Of course, each year, Whaler is free to improove a product. I am sure there are small changes and such as that. Maybe an extra cupholder, maybe a different seating arrangment some time, who knows what the future will bring but for now, the Nantucket is the baby Outrage.
