I am looking to add a Big Whaler by next season. I want to stay near $100K and the Conquest 255 seems to be a good value for the $$.

I would equip it with twin 150s or 175s.

I want to know things like, how does it ride, what is cruising speed, any problems?

Make sure you get the fishing package, otherwise the fish boxes don't have a pump out and you have to running to pull the plugs and empty rain water.
Also good choice with the twins. I had a single on mine and regretted it.
Good luck.

i just took delivery of a conquest 255 with twin 150 verados - a solid boat with lots of power - i am told the 175's are actualy the same engine but with different computer chip - you can get engne data from merc website and performance diff is not dramatic but the price diff is. best of luck.
