Steve (Speedo66) and the rest of the gang. Well, I am weak. After moving off the water, and having extended major discomfort from a very minor problem (kidney stone), I decided to sell my beloved 150 Sport. I was thrilled to find a great buyer and to this day, still enjoy thinking of a great guy and his family, (got to meet Speedo and his accomplished son for the pick-up)enjoying a great boat. But time and feeling much better got the juices going again, and my fading stone agony was replaced by my angst over the loss of a great boat.........soooooooooo.
2006 150 Montauk. Just as the 07's are due, got $1000 knocked off the price of a new "left-over" with the fishing package, and I am thrilled to be back at the helm of a B/W.
I have been out three times since the purchase. Fished three times and had hook ups with Tarpon on all three outings.(luck) The last adventure, I took my local fishing mentor, Al Paul, and he boated a 70+lb Tarpon on insanely light tackle. 6'6" Garcia spinning rod, Daiwa 2500 reel loaded with 15lb braid and a 40lb leader.
I am stoked.

Hey Jim- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Glad again to hear you're over your malady, and glad you're back in the Whaler fold.
That boat is probably the ideal, perfect, best fitting boat for you and I bet you love it. I'm glad you got it because I've always felt a little sheepish about taking your boat away.
Lots of great luck with it, and thanks for the kind words. We felt the same upon meeting you too, and are still in love with your ex-boat. If all goes well, we are due to take it for a trip around Manhattan this weekend, and test the new bimini.
