I am getting ready to purchase a new Sport 130 model Boston Whaler. My question is how the factory bimini top compares with the one from Mills Canvas Co.? The Mills top is about $400.00 less than the factory. Thanks in advance for comments...Jim

Best of luck with the new purchase. We purchased a new 130 Sport earlier this year with the factory bimini. We also have a factory bimini that I'm quite sure is by Mills, for a 17' Outrage II. I just briefly looked at both of them unopened and they appear to be of equal quality. The bimini for the 130 Sport even has recessed rivets and the ball/socket attachment points.
I don't think you can go wrong with a Mills bimini but remember it needs to installed and this should be part of the cost equation.
Do you know who makes the factory bimini?
