The Dauntless 160 owner’s manual has a spec of “trailerable length" as 19’ 9". What exactly does that mean? Also, do the majority of 160’s trailers have a swing tongue?

I am trying to get an idea of the smallest garage that the 160 will fit into. I don't yet have access to the boat.

Doug I've got a Montauk 150 on a Karavan trailer with break a way tongue. It just fits in my small garage which is just under 20 ft in length.

I don't believe the majority of 160 trailers have a break a way tongue but the break a way tongue can be purchased and looks like it wouldn't take much to install it.

Depends on how the dealer sets the boat up. a 160 Dauntless does not come from the factory with a trailer. It is up to the dealer to supply it from their own vendor.

My Dauntless 160, with a 90 Mercury tilted slightly on a Magic Tilt trailer without a swing away tongue measures 22 feet 9 inches and will just fit straight back into my 23 foot 1 inch garage.
