Ok, I was off the coast of Dana Point, CA this morning and shot some pics of this Boston Whaler

I know it's a Whaler because of the teak trim, but can anyone help out with the model and possibly the year of this one ?

I'm sorry but I've enhanced the photo the best I could but the sun off the hull obliterates any details of the decals.

Would be curious if anyone can ID this gentleman as well. He put up with me snapping photos for a while and I'd like to send him one of him in his classic (and beautiful) boat running WOT in the calm, blue, morning Pacific.

I believe he trailers this boat and does not have a slip at the harbor.

Thank you !

ESP

I'll guess an Outrage 22.

That is a classic Outrage 22 with optional Super Console, leaning post and bow pulpit powered by a Yamaha V-6 outboard. The model year could be anything form 1978 to 1990. If the bow pulpit is factory, then it is a 1986 to 1990 model.

You must have a very tall Whaler to take such a fine photo!
I'd be pleased as hell to have someone send that to me unsolicited.

Well. .. . I don't have the kind of ship that floats on the water very well. . . but would like to trade/cash it in for one that does.

I considered lucky myself to find this whaler out so early in the morning. . . it was a beautiful boat. . . had to make a few passes to get a decent shot of it.

If someone is interested in a photo shoot that could be arranged for say . . . the price of a ride in whaler ?
