Here's what the new Garmin 400/500 series and G2 Vision charts look like, plus a wiring diagram. Got my hands on my 500 today.

Tom, you do some nice work. But I don't think those 400 or 500 series machines have a touch screen, or they wouldn't need the buttons on the right side.

The 5000 series displays ARE touch screen however. VERY nice, I would imagine. After using the touch screen nav system in my wife's Lexus for the past 5 years, it certainly is the way to go when the vehicle (or vessel) is moving. A heck of a lot easier to use than buttons.

OK, I apologize. Where in the heck did I get the idea that you said they were "touch screen"?

Honestly, I need my vision, and my noggin checked...

Hey jimh, when are we gonna get an edit function, so's idiots like myself wouldn't look so dumb??
