I am looking to buy a used 21 or 23 outrage. I know the specs for the new 24 foot but not for the 23. What year did they change from 23 to 24? Is it a foot longer and what else did they change? What are the specs for the last years of the 23 ft-lenghth, width, weight, draft, ect? I like the larger console of the 23-24 ft/ head, ect but the boat weighs and costs alot more. I have a 2 wheel drive Ford F150 - could I tow a 23-24 ft or is that pushing it?

I have a 21 outrage and my 2003 F150 with the 4.6 V8 did not tow well on the highway. The boat and trailer weigh in at about 5300 lbs. I ungraded to a 2006 2 WD F150 with the 5.4 V8 and the 3.7 rear and it tows much nicer.

Retinadoc,

23'Outrage is 22'7"L X 8'6"W 15" Draft, 2,900 Lbs 300 Max Hp. I own the 24' Outrage which is pretty much the same boat only 1' longer. Great boats...

Good luck,

John

PS. I know they offered both boats in 1998 and I think the old 24 was discoutinued in 1999.
