Question: who makes the factory installed outriggers for BW? are they good quality, or am I better off buying/installing my own (i.e. taco, rupp) I kind of get the "impression" that the term 'radial outriggers' refers to Rupp, but not sure. Thanks, Griffin

I believe Taco supplied Boston Whaler with optional radial outriggers. I found a set of 15 footers by inch and a half diameter that I installed on my 23 Conquest.

The term "radial outriggers" refers to the fact that they swivel from locked rear pointing to out the side with a twist of a lock lever from under the hardtop or bimini or whatever.

I just installed a set of outriggers on my Conquest. My brother works for a company in S. Florida that sells fighting chairs and rod holders (not outriggers). I asked his opinion. He advised me that "Lee's Sidewinders" were a very good brand.
He gave me the name of a guy to contact at Lee's. They shipped them to my house. I had the 16 footers installed on my boat. They look great and they are very easy to operate. I cant wait to use them in Bimini.
If you want me to, I can e-mail you pictures of them.

Brian
