Topic:   Adding an MP3 player to my Dual Marine Stereo

posted 08-14-2007 10:49 PM ET (US)         I installed a Marine Dual stereo in my boat last year I got at Bass Pro. It works great and this model has a removable face plate/AM/FM/CD player. I want to be able to play my songs on my Apple Shuffle MP3 player and last week bought a Jensen MP3 adapter. (They had a Dual model but this was $20 and the Jensen model was $10. I tried installing this when I got home and hooked it up to the auxillary input cables on the stereo, but I can't figure out how to make the thing play. I have tried pressing the "MODE" button which changes from AM to FM to CD, but can't figure out how to get it to show AUX and play the Shuffle. Anybody have any experience with this? I can't find my owners' manual for the stereo so I thought I would try this message board. Thanks!
