Well I had my Montauk craned off the trailer and blocked off today.

I was surprised to find 2 areas where the boat sat on the bunks was blue antifouled and the rest of the hull below the water line was a dark grey.

I am having the hull stripped with a low pressure water jetting system (100PSI).

The abraded surface will then get 2 coats of Blakes Epoxy Primer Undercoat before being painted witn Blake "Hard Racing" antifouling.

The "Hard Racing" is formulated for powerboats and racing yachts and can be burnished.

I am not sure which colour to go for as it is available in a number of colour but I am leaning towrs going with white.

I will post pic later of the hull as lifted, then after stripping and then the completed job.

Not sure about this but you might want to check w/ Boston Whaler. I "think" there is something about requiring non-sanding primer in order to protect your hull warranty...at least that's what my marina told me.
God luck

Here are some pics of the hull after having the antifouling removed by the Farrow System.
This is not as good a finish as I was expecting but it has taken a lot of work out of the job.
I guess any system is only as good as the operator.

Well the hull repaint is now finished.

I decided to go with the dark blue anti-fouling as it matches the BW Blue on the sudes of the hull.
