I replaced my "car style" wheel with this 5 Spoke Schmitt Wheel I purchased on eBay, I must say I like it a whole lot better. Highly recommended. http://flickr.com/photos/jomatt/2237657964/sizes/l/in/ set-72157603719384955/ |

I did the same last spring, also adding an Edson power knob. This spring I intend to replace the helm chair with an Arrigoni Design teak ladderback chair. Both they and Pompanette have very nice stuff in this regard, albeit $$$. |

Are your tach and speedo gauges brand new? If not they sure look like it. I have an 2001 Daunless with SmartCraft gauges and they are in pretty rough shape compared to those. the wheel looks nice as well |

The gauges are the originals from 2001 actually, just a very clean boat. Thanks. We love our Ventura! |

I like the wheel as well. I would switch in a moment but when you boat is located in a colder climate, the all-steel wheel is very cold to the touch, especially at 5:30AM on a cool spring morning. Give me the padded wheel!! |
