I'd love to hear from anyone with the 205 Eastport/Conquest who have the Verados. I am looking at one with a 175 Verado, and am curious as to whether any of you have that combo. Do you like it. Any tips for breaking in the Verados? PItfalls you can help me avoid?

175 hp seems underpowered for that size of a boat. I have the 21 foot Conquest (older model) with a 200 Optimax and its barely enough power. I know they're different motors, but as we say here in Detroit, there's no substitute for horsepower.

They have one with a 150hp, and one with a 175hp. Same block too, but I am guessing the 2008 150hp is generation 2 Verado, and the 2007 175hp is generation 1.

The Whaler website says the 200 Opti, which you cant get anymore, blows them all out.

The deal on the leftover is significant.

Thanks everyone. And Ed, thanks for your email.

I am going to just double check the curtain set before delivery, and the batteries. This should be a nice addition.
