I purchased a 1994 Outrage last August. The boat was clean with twin '04 Evinrudes (115's). The deck drain scuppers lay right at the water line. The problem that I am having is water washing into the fish boxes on either side then into the bilge. Being that it is a continuous process my batteries will eventually die due to the pump running often. My boat stays in the water 24/7. I have had a couple of close calls and am trying to figure out the proper correction for this. Is this happening because of the weight of the twin engines? And if so, what is the proper fix? I plugged both deck drains as well as the engine well drains and obviously the boat is high and dry. We received heavy rain the other night and I assume that the water worked it's way into the bilge and was pumped out but this doesn't seem like the correct long term fix. Help!
