My son took our RAGE out for the first time in over a year. It seemed to run OK at low speed but when he opened it up it ran for about 5 minutes and stalled. It restarted easily and ran another 2 minutes at full throttle and stalled again. He restarted again and brought it in at low speed with no problem. Any ideas on what would cause this? I'm thinking either moisture in the fuel or the dreaded overheating problem this engine is apparently known for. Having said that - we have never experienced a problem with overheating, and have owned the boat since new.
