As I explore all if the workings of my Ventura I am having problems getting my Freshwater shower to work. I have turned on the switch at the helm and nothing. No noise from the pump at all. I am deducting that it may be a broken pump or a blown fuse. I'm not quite sure how to diagnose either possibility. Any thoughts from the BW panel of experts :)

Incidentally, when I use my raw water ...the pump pops into action. No mistaking the noise. Pat

Water in the tank?
Circuit Breaker?
Ck 12vdc at pump?
Shower head?

Thanks for weighing in..
- Yes, water tank is full (although a good question)
- Ruled out the shower head as there is no action at the pump.
- Not sure how to check the circut breaker? By this do you mean a fuse? Is it located behind the console? Is it straight forward to determine if the fuse is blown?

12vdc at pump....I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.

A simple start and effective fix is a check of the filter, which you access by opening the starboard panel under the rear seat. It screws off the lower right part of the pump, and may be clogged. I need to clean mine several times a season for what looks to be algae.
If this is clear, a mechanic can diagnose the pump itself easily.

Here's a couple items to look for.

It's easy to trouble shoot.

Guys, I'm heading down to the boat in the morning. I'll try some of your suggestions. Thanks, Pat
