My 220 Dauntless has thin rubber bungie cords to hold down the cooler and skis in the ski rack. These cords screw into the boat on one end and have a small hook on the other. I have had a couple of these break over the last two years and have yet to be able to find replacements. Does anyone know where you can get these? Dennis |

Any Whaler dealer can order them for you. Since I am 2 hours away from a dealer I bought some this year from Sue at Twin Cities Marine. You can look up the part number on the Whaler website and e-mail Sue for a price and to place your order. |

You can make your own replacements. Here's a place that sells the end terminals: http://www.diveandkayak.com/servlet/the-108/Bungee-Clip-And-Collar/Detail and http://www.diveandkayak.com/servlet/the-150/Bungee-Terminal-Ends/Detail |

Try thmarine.com based upon an earlier discussion of the cords used with the rod holders. Butch |

The rubber straps on my 16' Dauntless are TH Marine Rod Tamer Deck Mount Rod Straps and are available from many sources. See my earlier post. I ordered mine from wholesale marine, good price and arrived in two days. http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/015193.html The deck mount straps are the right ones. The gunwale mount straps are designed for boats without foam core construction. On my 16' Dauntless the length for holding rods is 12"; the length for holding skis is longer (16"?). My cooler is retained with fabric straps so I can't help you there. |
